We are seeking an experienced Senior ERP Consultant to join our Business Software team. The selected candidate will lead the implementation of ERP and business software solutions throughout the full project lifecycle—from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, training, deployment and ongoing customer support.

The role also involves providing technical guidance during implementation projects and mentoring junior team members to ensure successful project delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of ERP and business software solutions. 

• Analyse and document customer requirements, business processes and operational needs. 

• Map business requirements and processes to appropriate system functionality. 

• Design, configure and parameterise systems according to project requirements. 

• Prepare project estimates, plan task durations and assist with resource allocation. 

• Provide direction and technical guidance to project team members. 

• Visit customer sites, when required, to carry out implementation activities. 

• Work closely with Account and Project Managers on customer management and project coordination. 

• Provide pre-sales support when required. 

• Design, develop and document reports based on customer requirements. 

• Conduct user training and prepare supporting training materials. 

• Manage software deployments, upgrades, versions and patches. 

• Provide customer support for implemented solutions and maintain accurate records of the work performed. 

• Maintain clear and up-to-date project and solution documentation using company templates. 

• Mentor junior Implementation Consultants and provide ongoing technical guidance. 

• Support market and product research activities. 

• Assist with the development and quality assurance of customer-facing business functionality when required. 

Requirements

The ideal candidate should: 

• Hold an MQF Level 6 degree in Information Technology, Business and IT, Computing, Accounting or another related field. 

• Have at least five years of relevant experience, preferably involving the implementation of ERP or business software solutions. 

• Possess a sound understanding of financial, accounting and standard business processes. 

• Have experience in business requirements analysis, process mapping, system configuration and software implementation. 

• Demonstrate strong project coordination and problem-solving abilities. 

• Have excellent customer-facing, communication, presentation and training skills. 

• Be able to guide and mentor junior colleagues. 

• Be organised and capable of managing multiple priorities and project deadlines. 

• Have an excellent command of written and spoken English. 

• Be willing to visit customer sites when required.
